OUR TEAM
RICHARD BURKE, President and CEO, E Street Cold Logistics, LLC.
Mr. Burke began his career with Christian Salvesen, a large international cold storage company, in 1986 to complete their extensive management trainee program and was soon elevated to Plant Manager at the Denver facility. In 1987, he relocated to Los Angeles where he became a Regional Manager in Southern California for The Union Ice Company and in 1993 was promoted to President. From 1993 to 2006, Burke served as President until the company and all of the facilities were sold. In July of 2006, Burke reinvested to purchase the Port of Los Angeles facility with Xebec LLC to form E Street Cold Logistics. E Street now operates three facilities; two in the Salt Lake City area and one in the Port of LA which is currently being expanded. Mr. Burke received a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Northern Colorado and attended graduate school at The University of Colorado Business School in Boulder. Mr. Burke spent several years as a professional baseball pitcher in the Kansas City Royals organization after graduation from college and currently enjoys watching his three sons play high school and intercollegiate athletics.

G. BRENT LARSON, CPA, CFO, V.P. – Treasurer of E Street Cold Logistics, LLC.
Mr. Larson received his accounting degree from Utah State University’s School of Business. Mr. Larson is a Certified Public Accountant. He was an auditor with the international public accounting firm, KPMG Peat Marwick in their Los Angeles office. Mr. Larson joined the Union Ice Company, a California based cold storage warehousing and ice manufacturing company, in 1989 as VP of Finance. In 1994, Mr. Larson joined with Richard L. Burke to accomplish a management buyout of the company. In 2005, having significantly grown the company’s two divisions, Mr. Burke and Mr. Larson bifurcated the two divisions into separate entities. The cold storage entity was sold in 2006 to E Street Cold Logistics, LLC and the ice entity was sold in 2007 to Arctic Glacier, Inc. Mr. Larson is married with three children, active in the boy scout program, youth sports, his church and is an off-road motorcycle enthusiast.
MIKE MUNOZ, General Manager, E Street Cold Logistics, Harbor Facility
Mr. Munoz began his career with The Union Ice Company in 1991 as a warehouseman. He was rapidly promoted to Plant Manager at the City of Commerce location. Mike has many years experience in handling perishable fruits and vegetables as well as a wide range of frozen items from ice cream to imported meat. He also has extensive experience operating processed foods like strawberries and fish and understands their requirements.
Mike is a graduate of the World Food Logistics Organization’s, Refrigerated Warehousing Institute, a four year program taught at the University of Oklahoma.
He now manages E Street’s Harbor facility with over 30 employees and 15,000 pallets of inventory. He is married and has three children and resides in West Covina.
LORI SHUPE, General Manager, Salt Lake City
Mrs. Shupe began her career with E Street Cold Logistics in 2006. She has almost two decades of experience in the warehouse and cold storage industry. Lori manages both E Street Cold facilities in Salt Lake City, Utah She is married and has two daughters and resides in Clearfield, Utah.
